22. Traffic signs

Road marking

1.1    – parts traffic flows in opposite directions and points to borders of traffic lanes in unsafe areas, borders of traffic part of the road where gate is not allowed, borders of vehicles’ parking places and sides of traffic part of the roads that are not included in motorways.
1.2    -   points to side of the traffic part on motorways (wide full lines)
1.3    -  parts traffic flows of opposite direction on roads with four or more traffic stripes  
1.4    - points to the places where stoppage is prohibited, is applied independently or together with 3.27 sign and is drawn on side of the traffic part or top of the kerb
1.5    - parts traffic flows of opposite direction on roads with two or three  traffic stripes, if there are two or more stripes for traffic in one direction, points to the borders of traffic stripes
1.6    – warns of approaching 1.1 or 1.11 marking lines that part traffic flows of opposite or the same direction (approaching line – broken lines, length of strokes of which is thrice bigger than the distance between them)
1.7    – points to the traffic stripes on borders of the crossroads (with short strokes and broken lines equal to the length of the stroke with distance between them)
1.8    – points to the border between the acceleration or braking stripe and main stripe of the traffic part of the road (wide broken lines on crossroads, crossings of different level, bus stop areas and other places)
1.9    - points to the borders of traffic stripes where regulation with reversing movement is applied, parts traffic flows of opposite direction (when the oncoming traffic signal lights are switched off) on roads where regulation with oncoming traffic is applied
1.10    – points to the places where stop is prohibited, is applied independently or together with 3.28 sign and is drawn on side of the traffic part or top of the kerb
1.11    – parts traffic flows with opposite or equal direction on roads permitted for replacement by going out of only one stripe and points to the places intended for entry to and exit from the stops, turning, etc on roads where one-side traffic is allowed
1.12    – (stop-line) – points to the place where a driver should stop, when there is 2.5 sign or inhibiting signal (regulator) of traffic light is given
1.13    - points to the place where a driver should stop for letting the transport moving along the crossing road pass in case of need  
1.14.1 – points to unregulated pedestrian crossing
1.14.2 – direction of pedestrian circulation
1.14.3 - pedestrian crossing where the traffic is regulated with light signal

1.21 (“stop” title) – means approaching marking line 1.12 when it is applied together with 2.5 sign
1.22 – points to the route number
1.23 – points to the special stripe for vehicles of common use
