Appeal of the Main State Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the traffic participants in connection with the weather conditions

The Main State Traffic Police Department appeals to drivers due to unstable weather conditions and advices them to be careful, to take preventive measures to prevent accidents and other unpleasant situations that may occur on the roads due to snowfall, to avoid using cars with tires that are not suitable for the winter season as much as possible, considering that the roads are slippery, especially in the morning and evening, to make sure that their vehicles are in good condition, to check that the car's windshield wipers and washers, as well as external lighting devices, are in working condition before leaving the road, to choose the speed limit according to the road and weather conditions, to avoid unnecessary overtaking, sudden maneuvers and sharp braking.We recommend pedestrians to be responsible for their safety and avoid behavior that endangers their lives and the health of other road users considering that adverse weather conditions will cause difficulties for them.
