Appeal to drivers of mopeds of the Main State Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Annexes and amendments to Article 27 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Road Traffic”, introduced by the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, come into force from tomorrow.

According to the amendment, deregistration of all types, brands and models of motor vehicles with an engine capacity of 50 cc or more and an estimated maximum speed of more than 50 kilometers per hour from tomorrow they will introduce administrative responsibility.

All together, drivers of motor vehicles with an estimated maximum speed of more than 50 kilometers per hour will be required to have a driver’s license subcategory “A1”.
Once more, drivers are asked to strictly meet the requirements of the current legislation.
