Main State Traffic Police Department and Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources will organize “Clean air” month

Vehicles with high levels of harmful substances emitted into the atmosphere in the exhaust gases of motor vehicles are often found on highways. We note that the operation of such vehicles has a negative impact on the life and health of people by polluting the atmosphere.

It should be noted that today, more than 75 percent of air pollutants in the country fall on the share of automobile and fuel engines. Amount of emissions from air transport in the country to atmospheric air are estimated at about 700,000 tons per year.

The Main State Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources will organize a “Clean air” month from 1 to 31 August to prevent damage to the environment and human health from harmful emissions from cars.
The Main State Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs asks drivers to use their vehicles in a technically good condition. Otherwise, they will be brought to administrative responsibility in accordance with the legislation.
