Attention to the individuals and legal entities engaged in passenger transportation activity, as well as passengers using public transport

To prevent the mass spread of a new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) among the people in the country, it is necessary to use personal protective equipment (medical masks, cloth masks, respirators, etc.) while maintaining a certain social distance. The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a relevant decision on liability for non-use, and on June 2, 2020, the Code of Administrative Offenses was amended to establish administrative liability for violation of these requirements.Taking into account aforementioned, the Main STP Department of the MIA notifies people driving on the roads that individuals will be fined in the amount of fifty manats, officials in the amount of hundred manats, legal entities in the amount of two hundred manats according to the Article 211.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Azerbaijan, for repeated commission of the same fault by the person who received the administrative penalty within one year from the date of entry into force of the decision on imposing an administrative penalty, individuals will be fined in the amount of hundred manats, officials in the amount of two hundred manats, legal entities in the amount of four hundred manats according to the Article 211.3 of that Code for the violation of requirements defined by the relevant executive power related to the use of personal protective equipment during anti-epidemic regime, sanitary-hygienic and quarantine regimes by not using personal equipment protecting respiratory ducts in taxi and buses being used in intra-city (intra-district) and city (district) during the special quarantine regime.
