To the attention of individuals engaging in freight and passenger transportation, as well as providing taxi services by vehicles

28 September 2021-st

The Annex to the Resolution No. 229 dated July 26, 2021 by the Cabinet of Ministers defines activities and services requiring vaccination of employees against COVID-19 or an immunity certificate. According to the Resolution, individuals engaging in freight and passenger transportation, as well as providing taxi services by vehicles are required to be vaccinated with the first dose from September 1 and the second dose against COVID-19 from October 1 or have a COVID-19 immunity certificate.
In order to prevent the coronavirus pandemic and its possible negative effects the large scale vaccination process has started. However, as a result of our observations it was found that some drivers who don’t realize taken measures neglect defined rules and hope to do their business without being vaccinated by endangering people’s health.
The Main State Traffic Police Department notifies again that drivers engaging in freight and passenger transportation, as well as providing taxi services by vehicles will be inspected whether they have COVID-19 passports or COVID-19 immunity certificates on roads, as well as in stationery posts by road patrol service staff through the selection method and drivers who don’t meet these requirements shall be hold administratively liable under the Clause 211.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences.
