Appeal of Main STP Department to drivers and pedestrians

26.07.2022
In connection with the summer season, traffic on the roads of the capital is fundamentally felt, which is considered natural characteristic of the season. The continuation of daily actions of both pedestrian and drivers up to night hours leads to violation of traffic rules and increase of a number of accidents against this background.

When examining the causes and conditions of occurrence of traffic accidents, we come across various factors. Usually the main reason is associated with a violation of traffic rules.

If the driver sees the speed limit set on the road and does not pay any attention to it, if he acts demonstratively against the strip, disrespects other drivers in the traffic stream, deliberately and rudely violates the rules of overtaking, maneuvering or crossing a crossroad, if he does not keep an intermediate distance, it does not mean that the person is not aware that his actions are against the law and that he is responsible for the consequences, but just continues his actions, forgetting the sense of responsibility.

Of course, every driver sitting behind the wheel should know better how experienced he is in terms of road and weather conditions, be able to correctly assess dangerous situations, constantly improve his knowledge of traffic rules and driving skills. In short, as in any professional field, if you consider that driving is a profession, the driver must always work on himself, be careful and responsible on the roads. Even a sudden carelessness and irresponsibility of any professional driver can lead to a tragic accident.

We bring to the attention of pedestrians once again, pass streets and roads in places intended for pedestrians, be especially careful in limited visibility, i.e. in conditions of fog, rain, snow, as well as in dark time of day, do not use it while crossing the road because using the earphone does not allow you to hear the sound of surrounding cars
