The Main State Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan announces a drawing competition for children and teenagers called “TRAFFIC RULES THROUGH THE EYES OF CHILDREN”
29.11.2022In accordance with the State Program on road safety, competition is held with the purpose of development of knowledge and habits of children and teenagers about traffic rules, increasing awareness of road safety, protection of the environment from the harmful effects of cars, as well as ensuring public solidarity in the work of minimizing child traumatism on the roads.
In addition to drawings, other art samples can be submitted to the competition.
Competition rules:
• Submitted works must be on the specified topics;
• People aged 7-16 can participate in the competition;
• Works submitted to the competition are not returned;
• In cases where the participant’s documents are incomplete or untrue
the submitted work shall not be admitted to the competition;
• One author can submit 2 or more works to the competition;
• Artworks must not be smaller than A3 format;
• It is recommended to draw artworks with free technique;
• On the work submitted by the participant, their name and age must be written (the lower right corner of the work is recommended);
• If there are reasonable doubts about the creation of the works submitted to the competition by the participant, the work will not be admitted to the competition;
• Acceptance of works will be carried out from 30.11.2022 to 30.01.2023;
• Winners will be announced on 10.02.2023.
Evaluation criteria and rules for determining winners:
• coverage of the topic;
• stylistic characteristics, artistic-aesthetic level of the submitted work;
• impartiality and responsibility;
• protection of public interests.
The works shall be evaluated by selection method according to the criteria mentioned above and based on the results, winners of 1st, 2nd and 3rd places shall be determined.
Rules for accepting artworks:
• Originals of drawings or other art samples must be submitted to the competition.
• Creative works must be submitted by mail or to the Department of Traffic Safety Promotion and Communication with Public Institutions of the Main State Traffic Police Department of the MIA every day (except Sunday) from 10:00 to 17:00.
• Photos of works submitted to the competition must be sent to the e-mail address of the Main State Traffic Police Department:
info@dyp.gov.az.
Required documents:
• Copy of the ID Card of the participant;
• Information about the education, public activities and etc. of the participant;
• Information about the residential address and contacts (phone etc.).
Competition incentives and awarding of winners:
• The winners of the competition shall be awarded with “Honorary Decree” and gifts.
• The final results of the competition shall be widely covered by the media and the selected works shall be used in promotional print samples.
• A collective album of selected works shall be prepared, and exhibitions shall be organized.
