31.01.2024Snow-related problems continue in high and mountainous locations even though the erratic weather that persisted for several days has largely stabilized. Iced-over roads significantly enhance the chance of a car slipping, especially in the morning and evening, in wind-blown open spaces, on hills, and on bridges.
Employees of the State Traffic Department are currently implementing the required actions, in coordination with the appropriate authorities, to remove snow-related damage from the roads and guarantee safe vehicle movement.
At the same time, the Main State Traffic Police Department once again addressed drivers and asks to take precautions, taking into account the possibility of icy roads, not to drive on the road in vehicles that are not equipped for the season, unsuitable from a technical and safety point of view, and not to drive inexperienced drivers, asks individuals and legal entities carrying out passenger transportation to give preference to safer routes.
