Undoubtedly, the increased number of automobiles has a significant influence on air pollution. As a result of the activities of various modes of transportation, a huge amount of toxic gases are released into the atmosphere every day, exerting a high technological impact on the environment and posing a serious threat to human health.
Motor vehicles powered by internal combustion engines continue to be the main source of atmospheric pollution in our country as in the world. The share of motor vehicles in air pollution is 80%. In our country, the amount of harmful substances released into the atmosphere from automobile transportation is estimated to be close to 700,000 tons.
The Main State Traffic Police Department once again calls on vehicle owners, drivers and management of motor transport enterprises to keep their vehicles in good condition to ensure that the content of export gases complies with the norms.
