Truck drivers who did not comply with the lawful demands of the traffic police have been detained
01.06.2024
Officers from the TPS Regiment of the Main State Traffic Police Department signaled to stop “Kamaz” trucks with license plates 36-BK-066, 36-BM-066, and 99-XT-941, driven by residents of Bilasuvar district - Galib Aghayev, Elman Mammadov, and Parvin Bayramov - for violating cargo transport regulations. However, these drivers continued to drive without obeying the police’s lawful orders.
As a result of the measures taken, the vehicles were stopped. During the investigation, it was revealed that all three drivers were operating their vehicles while exceeding the permissible weight and axle load parameters.
In connection with this, a protocol was drawn up in accordance with the law, and the collected materials were sent to the court for review.
Despite repeated warnings that transporting goods with vehicles beyond the legal weight limits is illegal, observations show that some drivers still commit similar violations.
Regardless of its purpose, any load must not exceed the weight limits set by the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan and must be packaged according to the regulations specified in the legislation.
We would like to once again remind all individuals and legal entities involved in cargo transportation that if these violations are detected, in accordance with the law, the movement of the vehicle will be prohibited, and drivers will be fined six hundred manats. Officials who allowed the vehicle to be overloaded beyond the permitted dimensions, weight, and axle load parameters will be fined between one thousand four hundred and one thousand seven hundred manats, and legal entities will be fined between four thousand and five thousand manats.
At the same time, drivers should know that illegal actions aimed at evading responsibility will lead to more severe administrative sanctions being applied against them.
