According to experts, high air temperature causes dizziness, fatigue and drowsiness, which causes drivers who drive for long periods of time to become distracted and unable to assess the processes around them in a timely or accurate manner.
Taking into account the above, the Main State Traffic Police Department appeals to drivers preparing for a long-distance journey, as well as drivers who drive primarily at midday, to pay attention to the technical condition of their vehicles, strictly follow the rules along the way, do not sit behind the wheel when tired and sleepy, to set off at a relatively cool time of the day, and after 2-3 hours of continuous traffic, stop at fixed points of the STP and rest for a short time.
Passengers are advised to pay attention to the driver's mood in hot weather and try to stop the traffic if they feel that they are depressed, sleepy or have difficulty driving the vehicle for other reasons.
