Fog advisory from the Main State Traffic Police Department!
19.05.2025According to meteorological reports, due to ongoing precipitation and foggy conditions, visibility on highways is expected to drop to 500-1,000 meters.
Fog, especially during morning and evening hours, significantly reduces a driver's field of vision, increasing the risk of serious traffic accidents, including multi-vehicle collisions.
Taking this into account, the Main State Traffic Police Department urges drivers to reduce speed to a minimum in foggy conditions, maintain a greater following distance, ensure that all external lights are functioning properly, and strictly adhere to safety rules when overtaking, changing lanes, stopping, or parking.
