Appeal of the Main STP Department of the MIA to vehicle owners and drivers due to the operation of vehicles in poor condition
02.02.2021Traffic congestion is being observed on the streets of the capital due to the opening of some service fields and primary schools as a result of the mitigating of the strengthened special quarantine regime applied in the country to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.
Investigations show that the reason for traffic congestion in some places is not only the increase in the number of vehicles, but also their engine was shut down on the road due to various technical problems during heavy movement.
To prevent such cases and ensure the uninterrupted movement of traffic, the Main STP Department of the Ministry for Internal Affairs once again calls responsible persons for technical condition of vehicles to maintain the vehicles in use timely, and warns that strict penalty measures will be taken on the drivers who create an obstacle for free movement of other road participants by turning away by vehicles in poor condition according to the legislation requirements.
