Appeal of the Main State Traffic Police Department to drivers
13.01.2022According to the National Hydrometeorology Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, from the evening of January 13, the north-westerly wind will intensify, the weather will be rainy, in some areas it will turn into slush, it will snow in high areas, and roads will be iced because of frosty weather conditions in mountainous and foothill areas.
The Main State Traffic Police Department appeals to drivers regarding the issued forecast and asks them to be careful, not to use cars with non-suitable tires for winter in such areas as much as possible considering a higher possibility of vehicle slipping caused by slushing and snowing in mountainous and foothill areas, not to park cars near or under trees, big billboards, other objects that may fall or break as a result of wind, to select the speed limit suitable for the meteorological condition, to check if windshield washers and wipers of vehicles work in the determined mode, as well as to avoid sudden maneuvers and braking, if not necessary.
