While driving, the driver's full attention should be focused on the road, events occurring around them, and controlling the vehicle. Unfortunately, some drivers pose a serious danger to themselves and other road users by holding pets in their arms while behind the wheel. An animal kept in an embrace can react unpredictably at any moment, distract the driver or interfere with the control of the car. Such situations significantly increase the risk of accidents and can lead to tragic consequences.
It should be remembered that the use of special transport equipment for animals transported by car is mandatory. Failure to use this equipment leads to traffic violations and dangerous situations on the roads.
The Main State Traffic Police Department once again urges drivers to be responsible and to avoid any additional distractions while behind the wheel.
Remember: A momentary lapse in attention can lead to irreversible consequences!
